AquaLINE® is technological advancement in expansion joints for potable water containment structures. AquaLINE® has been specifically developed to waterproof expansion in such structures. AquaLINE solves the dual problem of accommodating movement (and contraction) while at the same time maintaining water tightness. AquaLINE, like its companion products RedLINE and FlamLINE is developed to be a zero profile joint. The zero profile provides for a non-obstructive joint. AquaLINE® is designed for use with a compatible epoxy resin, which is NSF certified, for use in potable water structures. For resin certification details the epoxy resin manufacturer should be consulted.

DESCRIPTION: AquaLINE® waterproof expansion joint system is used for waterproofing expansion joints in structures, where potable and drinking water is stored. These structures require that all materials used meet stringent health and contaminant requirements as set out by local regulatory agencies. AquaLINE® is specifically designed to accommodate a range of movements, from 1″ [25 mm] to 10″ [250 mm]. AquaLINE is installed on a prepared substrate with an epoxy resin, which conforms to health and contaminant requirements set out by local regulatory agencies. AquaLINE® is supplied directly to the job site in a roll with all detail work done and seamed together by a proprietary vulcanizing process, which results in monolithic and elastic seamed joints. Seaming can also be done on site if required. The flat profile of the AquaLINE® joint unobtrusive to finishes, such as, special coatings, tiles, toppings etc. AquaLINE® is manufactured from a proprietary elastomer which is chemically stable and has excellent resistance to the effects of prolonged water saturation. AquaLINE® has been certified to NSF standards. Hydrostatic Pressure Limit: Working Pressure in Column of water height is 33 ft [10 m] or also available in a “G” version to withstand working pressures of 134 ft [41 m]. |
